Windows 7 search privacy

If you don’t want everyone to see your searches mostly in a sharing pc you can simply to turn off this function. By default windows 7 will remember your search queries and display most recent when searching in windows explorer.

1. Run and type >GPEDIT.MSC

2. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components>Windows Explorer

turn off

3.On the right pane double click “Turn off display of recent search entries…”

4. Click Enabled>OK

Now everyone can’t see your recent searches
